Blobfest Half Marathon 2026
Conquer 13.1 miles of rolling terrain and earn a one-of-a-kind Blob-themed medal at one of the Philadelphia region's most memorable summer races.
About this race
The Blobfest Half Marathon offers runners the chance to tackle 13.1 miles while immersed in the quirky, energetic atmosphere of Phoenixville's annual Blobfest celebration. As the longest distance offered during the weekend, the race combines a challenging summer half marathon with movie history, community spirit, and a festival unlike any other in the region. Participants receive the event's signature Blob-themed medal and become part of a race experience that is equal parts competition, celebration, and cult-classic tribute.
Course notes
The half marathon starts at 7:00 AM and begins and ends in front of the Historic Colonial Theatre in downtown Phoenixville. The course is significantly more challenging than the 5K and 10K, featuring rolling terrain and the area's well-known hills, including sections that require thoughtful pacing during the summer heat.
Getting there
Free off-site parking is available at Phoenixville Middle School, with complimentary shuttle service operating between the lot and the race venue throughout the morning. Additional parking is available in select municipal and downtown lots, but runners should arrive early due to race-day road closures and increased Blobfest traffic. Packet pickup is available both during the Blobfest Street Fair and on race morning near the start area.
