About this race
The crown jewel of Philadelphia running. The Philadelphia Marathon takes runners through the city's most scenic neighborhoods including Manayunk, Fairmount Park, and Kelly Drive before finishing on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. A Boston qualifier course with rolling hills making it challenging but rewarding. One of the best big city marathons on the East Coast.
Course notes
Rolling course through Manayunk has significant hills around mile 18-20. The Kelly Drive section is flat and fast. Stunning finish on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Getting there
Parking available near the finish on the Parkway. SEPTA to 30th Street Station recommended. Gear check available.
